On August 12th & 15th, your company transported my wife from the airport in Lexington, KY to Danville, KY and returned her as well. The purpose of her visit was to see her only brother, who was terminally ill.
My wife is 69 years old, has limited mobility, hasn’t traveled by air in more than 20 years, and has only traveled by air, unaccompanied, once in her life (more than 40 years ago). The trip was very stressful and tiring for her, and stressful for me because I was unable to accompany her.
From my initial telephone call for information, through to her return, Gold Shield was a pleaser to deal with. We both want to thank you for your kind, efficient, safe, helpful assistance in completing two “legs” of her trip in a manner that eased a great deal of stress for her, and for me as well. Thank you for providing me with the wonderful transportation service I received. I thought at first I had missed getting picked up because the plane was late. However, airport staff immediately commented about the super service of your company and your drivers and I was not to worry about your reliability. Within ten minutes of my call, Mr. Thompson arrived. We figured out what had happened: the arrival time on the schedule was given as 9:00 pm instead of 8:00 pm – either a time zone thing or a typo. Since the plane was late, it all worked out perfectly.
I returned on Sunday morning and the driver was at the front door of the Embassy Suites at 5:45 am to return me to the Lexington airport. I experienced the same gracious interaction with this driver. I especially enjoyed learning more about your lovely city from both men.
