FAQ's
1. How long have you been in business? We've been in business since 1982, we are going on our 26th year.
2. Are you properly insured? Yes we are! We carry up to date & proper state insurance requirements per Kentucky Department of Transportation. There are many "Fly by Night" & "Gypsy" operators out there, so be sure to ask the proper questions before sending your loved ones off in a limousine.
3.Will you beat your competitor's prices? We have been in business for 26 years and have always offered reliable top notch service at the lowest possible prices. There are many reasons why other limousine companies offer discounted prices, one of which is improper insurance, improper maintenance upkeep, improper state licensing, improperly paid employees, double booking of reservations, and several others to say the least.
4. Where are you located? Our vehicles are located in downtown Lexington, KY - 250 Walton Avenue.
5. What year are your limousines? We carry only new body style Lincoln Stretch & Hummer Stretch Limousines.........2006 & newer.
6. What size limousines do you have? Limousines are sized by the number of passengers they can accommodate. We are able to accommodate groups between 6-16 passengers.
7. How much does it cost to rent a limousine? It ranges from $65 to $150 per hour. These rates do not apply to New Year's Eve, Kentucky Oaks & Derby, Prom Season, and special event pricing (i.e. Ryder Cup)
8. Do you have package rates? NO! We do not offer package rates because we can provide cheaper rates with hourly pricing. Many packages are misleading and wasteful, they hide costs such as gasoline and miscellaneous charges. Booking by the hour insures both parties of cost; especially if you are to use the vehicle longer than originally intended, which is perfectly fine when you rent from Gold Shield Limousine.
9. What features do your limousines offer? Our limousines offer televisions, cd players, dvd players, fiber optic lighting, mirrored ceilings, leather seats, un-stocked bar with glasses & coolers. We have also recently added IPOD adapters to our vehicles, so if your party would like to listen to your own personal music, you may do so in our vehicles by using your IPOD & our IPOD adapter.
10. How are your chauffeurs dressed? Our chauffeurs are professionally dressed in dark (Black) suits with a shirt & tie.
11. Can we eat & drink in your limousines? Yes! However, we do not provide alcoholic beverages to our guests. You are allowed to drink alcoholic beverages in our vehicles provided you are of the legal drinking age (21 in the state of Kentucky).
12. Can we tip the chauffeur extra? Yes you may! In fact we encourage you to tip your chauffeur extra if he or she has provided you with outstanding service. We appreciate any phone calls or letters concerning the professionalism and courtesy our drivers receive from our clients.
